KARS is a family owned and operated auto reconditioning facility run by Kevin and Leia Taylor, bringing quality automotive reconditioning to metro Atlanta. We strive to provide a unique auto reconditioning experience based on family values.

KARS was started in September of 2011 by mobile paint specialist Kevin Taylor. In the beginning, KARS was a one man paint only restoration company that operated out of Kevin's garage. There were no plans to expand, however, after the first year, friends began to approach Kevin about working for his company. A few men were added and trained as paint specialists. During the third year in business, the company exploded as more technicians joined the team. New disciplines were added, including Paintless Dent Removal, Interior repair services, and Wheel and Rim restoration. This allowed KARS to serve their dealerships as a full service reconditioning company. Over the past six years, KARS has consistently offered high quality reconditioning repairs at competitive prices with exceptional service to major car dealerships in the metro Atlanta market.  

Over the years, our technicians have often been approached by retail customers and asked to provide minor cosmetic repairs. These jobs, knows as "retail jobs", were never the main focus of KARS, but our technicians would often take them anyway and make a little money outside of their regular dealership accounts. During the COVID pandemic and economic shutdown of 2020, our technicians began to actively seek out these retail jobs to supplement the income lost during that difficult economic time. This gave birth to a new idea for KARS, to open an "Express Body Shop" at our warehouse in Ball Ground, GA. This shop would provide quick, affordable and honest cosmetic repairs to our retail customers in a safe and friendly environment. Our highly trained technicians would consult with each retail customer personally about the cosmetic needs of their vehicle and provide them with a fair estimate of cost and turnaround time before beginning any work. Because of our training as mobile reconditioning specialists on the lot at dealerships, our products and techniques are ideally suited to repair small areas of damage, not replace whole car parts like the body shops want to do, allowing us to save the customer both time and money. Everyone at KARS is excited about the new addition of a retail division to join our already successful commercial division.
